What is Ask the Doctor?

Ask-the-Dr is a telemedicine service provider specializing in connecting people to doctors, any time of day, seven days a week. Ask-the-Dr offers convenient and affordable access to quality physician care. Ask-the-Dr provides its members with convenient access to telephonic and secure online chat with a doctor using telemedicine solutions developed to manage medical conditions through telephone and internet-based applications.  All of our physicians are independently contracted as participating providers in the AmeriDoc Physician Network℠.

To whom does Ask the Doctor provide service?

Ask-the-Dr offers service to anyone who might need or want to call a doctor. Ask-the-Dr’s service offerings are aimed at individuals, families, and groups trying to contain escalating healthcare costs. The group programs primarily target self-insured employers, health insurance carriers, and associations that are taking the initiative to reduce physician care costs for their constituency.

What are your business hours?

Our physicians and Member Support Staff is available to answer all of your questions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, simply by calling 1.877.596.3502.  Billing and enrollment support is available 9AM-5PM, Monday-Friday at 1.888.448.7633.

What is your cancellation policy?

You can cancel at any time by calling our Member Support at 1.888.448.7633.  No additional charges will be assessed to your account once you have cancelled your membership.  Your membership services will continue to be available through the period for which you have already paid. Click here to read our Terms and Conditions.

What is your refund policy?

Ask-the-Dr may provide refunds as determined in its sole and absolute discretion.  Ask-the-Dr membership is a monthly service that is billed in advance and cannot be “returned”.  Under no circumstances does Ask-the-Dr provide refunds for partial months.
